I don't think anyone is complaining about him being creepy, merely pointing out how effective that scene is at setting the mood.

Quentin seems to try and scratch something into the concrete with his powers in that last scene. Considering the scene seems to take place pretty close to the Saint Basil's Cathedral, a message like that could very easily show up on social media the next day, which someone like Trinary could then easily spot.

Unless Mikhail has been creeping on Krakoa, that preview feels like it's pointing to that he did indeed have some sort of a plant.
