I'm going to go with Amethyst for being one of the few female DC superheroes that isn't derived from another hero (Huntress), or a knockoff of some sort (Batgirl and Supergirl, or Jessica Cruz), villain or supporting character to a leading hero (Catwoman), and also has her own original world that is pretty decently developed, (unlike Zatanna and Vixen). It's pretty amazing, but she's a bit of a rarity at DC. Besides that, I Think she has a lot of potential that is largely untapped by DC. I know you can say that about anyone, but it seems especially applicable to Amethyst, IMO.

Hmmm there is a few missing from this list, Donna Troy, Power Girl, Batwoman, Fire, Ice, Amethyst, Big Barda, Dove. it would be nice if Legion heroes like Dawnstar and Shadow Lass were on there as well...still fun to vote though.

A mini she had in 2011 and the Worlds Finest book she had with Powergirl.

Believe me I would have added all of them if I could have but unfortunately I can only do 15 options. Figured I’d use the 15 women that DC uses the most in outside media, not including the villains.

Lois and Power Girl's snub on this list is criminal.

Did you, by any chance, read the first post explaining how the list was put together?

If we're talking about the "15 most prominently used super-heroines", I'm guessing that Lois wasn't included because she's not a super-heroine (except for that Rebirth seriers where she was killed off pretty quickly) and Power Girl has not recently met the "prominently used" requirement. (The blame for that would be on DC.)

Major, this is a comic book discussion board. Since when has outrage needed to be based on anything other than pettiness?

Well, Lois is probably the most prominent DC lady who is heroic without needing to wear spandex.
