The Jaguars continue their merry go round at QB. After a week when Jake Luton looked like a 6th rd rookie QB (he struggled so bad with 4 Ints etc) the team has benched him and will turn to Mike Glennon. They also have said Gardner Minshew is due back soon from his thumb injury.

The Bengals will turn things over to Brandon Allen who leaped in front of Ryan Finley on depth chart. A big reason is Allen knows Zac Taylor's offense as the 2 spent 2 years together with the LA Rams. Plus its said Allen is more mobile and can work behind a not so good offensive line.

In a classic NFL ..WHAT IF ? Tony Gonzalez and Ron Gronkowski nearly played together. As Tony explains at the end of the video...

Tony Gonzalez had announced his retirement in 2014. A few weeks later he gets a call from Tom Brady who asks him if he wants to throw the ball around on a weekend. Gonzalez who thought , well this should be a fun friendly deal , catching passes from Tom Brady . So they agreed to meet at UCLA to do that.

Gonzalez jokes he gets there and there are a group of people there and he asks Tom , hey where are the other guys so we can all play around here. Brady tells him , oh its just us. Tony claims catching balls from him was really nice and he didn't think about it at the time . After a good while Brady and the guys come over and start to tell him how great he still looks. That he could suit up again and play for sure.

Gonzalez didn't realize this was Brady's attempt at a try out with him to get him to New England until Brady was asking how sure he wanted to be retired. He said it was 40% he wanted to come back and play with Tom Brady and Ron Gronkowski. But he felt he was done and it was time. But he came close and it would have been really great to catch passes from Tom Brady and play with Gronk.

Markus Paul, the Cowboys strength and conditioning coach who was at the center of yesterday's medical emergency event, died today at the hospital. He was 54. A Cause of death has not been given. May he rest in peace and condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.

The Lions are doing what the Lions do best, play stupid. Back to back turnovers, including a J.J. Watt pick-6 runback lead to a 13-7 Texans lead.

They did, then, on the very next play, the Lions get the ball right back on a Texans turnover. Is it any wonder both teams have a combined seven wins and generally look like ****?

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has tested positive for COVID, so will be placed on the virus list and unavailable for Sunday's ga,e against the Steelers, as well as several other Baltimore players.

McCarthy should move up the hot seat list on WBE's post for week 12. He had several questionable decisions throughout the game, and two of those wtf calls in particular gave the WFT the game when it had been close up to that point, giving WFT the ball deep in Dallas territory twice where the scored to take the lead and put the game away.

Been listening to ESPN Radio this morning, and I've heard that the culprit in the latest rash of cases is a strength and conditioning coach who, according to reports, didn't always wear a mask in the Ravens facility and didn't reveal symptoms. And yet, that coach was only suspended by the team when IMO, he should've been fired.

By the by, Larry Fitzgerald tested positive and will miss the Tampa game on Sunday.
