Harbaugh will inherit a talented defense but could he get along with Pace as GM ? Harbaugh will likely demand more power than we saw with 49ers where he at end clashed with the GM.

He'd likely be instantly popular with the Bears fans. And that would last a couple of years until they realize he's not going to bring them back to greatness. I mean, as a fan I would love to see it because of all the story and drama possibilities. It would be like Kosar coaching the Browns - a kind of glorious, slow-motion train wreck.

Doesn't Chicago have the highest amount of Ohio State grads?

Would they really want to cheer on Jim?

In a surprise low risk signing move , Kansas City signed DeAndre Baker (CB) a former 1st rd pick of the NY Giants. If no one remembers Baker and another player had back in the spring been released due to criminal case in Florida. But that fell apart in time as the other player had his charges dropped and soon Baker this past week had his charges dropped next by the state.

Now innocent Baker was granted free agency to sign and picked KC . Where he'll join the practice squad and possibly if he gets his act together quick could see the field. But Baker has some on field issues and its why the Giants weren't in a hurry to bring back a former 1st rd pick.

    - He would at times fall asleep in meetings.

    - As a rookie he struggled as he was only able to play one side of the field and he told after a game he was still learning the play book.

    - After his rookie season all of the defensive coaches he worked with were gone. Joe Judge and his new staff didn't know Baker or what he can do.

Its a low risk move and maybe KC can make Baker a star CB. If not...he won't be a loss.

I say this honestly... it will depend on what happens when Michigan beats Ohio State. If Harbaugh can snap the ridiculous-ass losing streak the Wolverines have against the Buckeyes, I think he saves his job for at least another year.

Giants being dysfunctional. Joe Judge and O-line coach Marc Columbo got into a verbal altercation after Judge hired another O-line coach, Dave DeGuglielmo, as a consultant, and then Judge fired Columbo. Judge then hired DeGuglielmo to be his new O-line coach. Columbo had been brought in to work with the O-line draft picks the Giants got this past draft, and was just starting to get results with them after they got off to a slow start. He was also brought in because he was familiar with Jason Garrett's systems, but now developing that talent and teaching Garrett's system to the line will fall to the new hire. Reports were that it got physical between Columbo and Judge, but the Giants deny there was any physical altercation between the two.

Joe Judge has no business as a head coach. And this news? This only underlines it.

This being said, he still could win the NFC (L)East this year, because someone's got to.

The team is denying there was a fight but yeah major press has picked it up already...

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/13235...ist-fight-nfl/

Its said its because the Giants 1st rd pick Andrew Thomas hasn't progressed fast enough on the offensive line. Which again , the Giants are busy shifting new parts and players in that offensive line as detailed weeks ago here. When I brought up how they had 3-4 new starters on the offensive line.

This is where a seasoned coach like an Andy Reid would step up and detail that a team needs time to let a young offensive lineman grow with his coach. Back in 2013 the Chiefs selected Eric Fisher at #1 overall. Fisher was projected to be a future star tackle and KC needed offensive line help. But his 1st year he struggled in the pro game. A fact many would have said Reid could have moved on but he didn't. He stuck by Fisher and said he'd get better.

Now Fisher hasn't been that all world tackle clearly. But he's started 100+ games in KC in that span and has periods where in 2018 he was a Pro Bowl player. But overall the Chiefs could have fired their offensive line coach just as quick. But Reid stood by Andy Heck (he's been KC's offensive line coach since 2013 !) . So yeah a seasoned coach would have never done this move.

Yeah, this sounds like a real mess. But, if the Giants remain competitive, even win NFC Least, few will remember this incident.

How many have to be on the list before the game gets postponed/cancelled?

The fact the league made it this far without games being scratched is a miracle in itself. And it’s no surprise the Raiders are facing multiple cases after having already been sent to the principal’s office for mask wearing infractions.

If they are added to the list within 72 hours of the game, it gets delayed. So they added them just in time.

NFL has never said what it takes to cancel and I don't expect them to.

The 'boys re-activated Andy Dalton yesterday and he will start against Minnesota.

Its so weird. Dallas is last in their conference but probably have a better chance to make the playoffs than the Vikings do.

They could if they start that Gale Gilbert kid who seemingly played way better than Dalton. But are fucking stupid and will try to justify signing Dalton as a backup.
