Miles Sanders ran 74 yards for a score against the NFL's best defense. Eagles and Steelers are tied.

Steelers over Eagles 17-14 at the half. The Birds have stayed right there with Pittsburgh.

Arizona needed a "get right" game, and got to go on the road to play the Jets with Joe Flacco, instead of Sam Darnold.

They're handling things, and were up two TDs at the half and have held that advantage into the 4th quarter. Don't know if Flacco with this line and these weapons have it in them to come from behind. Especially because the Cardinals' offense are converting first downs on the ground right now. They're chewing up the clock and still getting points at the end of the drives.

Adam Gase is about to drop to 0-5 and take his rightful place at the top of the "Fire this coach!" pile.

Mahomes is playing like a Madden cheat code.

    This kid is the future.

That scrambling side-arm bullet on 3rd and 15 was nuts.

They are down by 6 and LV looks to score again. Carr is playing better.

And Mahomes might have just thrown the int that loses the game.

Not a good game for him.

Cardinals 30, Jets 10 with 5:36 to go, and New York just had a drive stall and have turned it over on downs.. Popping in for this comment about the Jets, though...

The problem with their WR corps is Joe Flacco has been hitting them in the hands all day. I have seen at lest five first downs dropped. AT LEAST. And... right on their hands. Through their hands. Off their hands. Just... other than Jamison Crowder, the Jets have nothing at receiver.

That is just bad coaching. Greats like Rodgers and Brady can always make due with other than all star receivers.

AZ 30, NYJ 10 is the final.

Jets are 0-5. Adam Gase loses his sixth game as Jets coach by 20 points or more, the most blowouts for any coach since kickoff at the start of 2019.

The Giants, meanwhile, are about to kick off on the road in Dallas. If the Giants lose, it will be the first time in NFL history that the New York football teams start the seasons collectively 0-10.

The worst play call I saw today was a play where the Jets called an end-around where they were going to have the receiver with the ball pass downfield to another receiver...

Arizona had a defender in the backfield on top of him almost immediately and he started to retreat backwards diagonally only to be tackled for a 16 yard loss.

Also, Gase wasted a timeout on a challenge on a ball spot trying to pick up a first down and lost it early in the 4th quarter. The player was obviously out of bounds prior to picking up the first down. Just...???

Its rare to see Pat Mahomes look human. Its rare to see him lose and lose in a game that big.

But knowing Mahomes he will be ticked at himself. He has always taken losses and strove to be even better.

As he said last year the losses to New England in 2018 pushed him to work harder. So he will see this loss and go...back to work.

Steelers 38, Eagles 29. The Birds gave it their best shot but had no answer whatsoever for rookie WR Chase Claypool (no relation to Les) who caught 7 passes for 152 yards and three TD’s. Things get no easier for Philly as they host Baltimore and Lamar Jackson next Sunday.

Dak Prescott broke his leg badly, and it was bent in the wrong direction!
