Damn! I forgot Dak was in a contract scuffle with the Cowboys. Yeah, no doubt in my mind Jerrah will lowball Prescott now that he's damaged goods, or worse, Jones might even cut him loose and draft a QB. I wouldn't put it past Jones to pull a shitty move like that.

I had to crash before it was over but they won, yea weird game, he did have about a dozen completions in a row. Also it can't be just me but this is the worst Peter Carroll defense he's had since running like hell from USC. A piece here and there but overall not near what they used to have.

WBE, ya man's runs too much lol. I've been soakin' up Cardinal games on the YT replays, it looks like Murray is finding a reason to take off and run. He need to relax, although the JETS prolly brings that out in people. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he didn't look like somebody's kid, in full uniform from the stands, taking off with a ball.

Another positive on the Tacks staff, WTF are they doing?!? Meathead Vrabel needs to forfeit a game for all this shuffling they are causin'.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
    You bet yer ass.

They won with a key stop on the Vikings, and then Russell showing why he is the current MVP. The last drive was all him.

I'm trying to figure out if Kyler's the real deal or not. Kid threw for 375 yesterday and a TD, plus ran for like another 50 yards, and while he does take off way more than I'd normally be comfortable with someone his size doing, he is remarkable at getting out of bounds or sliding. I can't recall him taking a hit yet this year of any magnitude, while running or in the pocket.

    Knock on wood, of course.

Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.

The bad news out of AZ is... the NFL's sack leader the past two seasons, Chandler Jones, tore a biceps yesterday. He may be done for the season.

Wow, Dak has got to be up there with the unluckiest QBs to ever hit the field. He was having a pretty good day and then this happens. and in the middle of contract talks with perhaps the stingiest crap-ass of them all. I never felt he was all that, outside of one really good season, but man I feel for the guy now.

Nothing I saw yesterday came close to being as good as Foles-Brady II last Thursday.

We have to remember a report weeks/months ago was Prescott rejected an offer of $33-35 million a season and wanted 1 less season and more money in the $38-40 million range. The whole poor Dak and Jerry Jones is stingy is kinda bullshit.

Prescott only has himself to blame here. He had a great offer and deal here. But wanting more is just insane. I said it months ago Prescott til he wins a Super Bowl etc should not get Pat Mahomes money. He's not there. But he was gonna get tied with Russell Wilson money and he wasn't happy with it.

Raheem Morris has been named interim coach of the Falcons.

And Jerry Jones has many faults, stinginess is not one of them. The Cowboys are often strapped for cap space because of the big contracts he gives to many players. However, he likes to negotiate longer contracts for several reasons, foremost to give him flexibility in restructuring them to make cap space each season, and sometimes those contracts seem low by the end because the market has surpassed the contract's terms, but he rarely shies away form spending on talent. The major stumbling block was the length of contract with Prescott. Dak wanted a 3 year deal so he could hit the open market again before he hit 30. Jones wanted to tie him up for all his prime years. Dak wanted to bet on himself so he could possibly get an even bigger payday in a few years time, Jones wanted to tie him up at current market value and give the team security and flexibility moving forward. The dollars per year were close and could have been bridged had either side moved on length of contract. Neither was willing to move on that issue. Part of the reason Jones wanted the flexibility is because he had given out so many rich extensions to other players this offseason and the previous one (DeMarcus Lawrence, Tyron Smith, Jaylon Smith, Zeke etc.) He's not shy about giving big money to his players, so stingy he is not. Egotistical, arrogant, blowhard control-freak sure. Stingy, not so much.

Prescott wanted to get the most he could, thats how you negotiate. Sounds like you fall on the "Dak was being a money-grubber" side of things.

The reality is that once he leaves Dallas, he'll be lucky to get that money now because I don't think Browns or Cincy will dump that on him. Maybe the Jets but I don't think so either.

Shit, Vikings at Hawks was a hell of a game that came down the end. I get the Vikings have only 1 win but I'd hope Zimmer isn't on any hot seat. I've watched that game 1 and a half times already on the replay.

Also Derrick Carr elbowed everyone's NFL savior and star of 10 commercials at a time, right in his mouth in his house. That game was great.

Tom Brady seeing the effects of missing a Geritol dose I guess was OK. Where are we at as a people when the goat can't will his team a simple 5th down?
