Well now, THIS certainly isn't good for Baltimore:

Anyone see the news coming out of Houston? They fired the head of the team's PR staff, Amy Palcic. She was the only woman running a PR staff in the NFL and the bullshit reason they gave was that she no longer fit the culture of the team.

It's not only a bad PR move for the team, but the lameass reasoning for the firing has brought a lot of condemnation from not only media people but from at least two Texans players including J.J. Watt.

The team president is doing the rounds claiming it was his call, but no one with a working brain cell believes that. This has the fingerprints of Jack Easterby all over it. And with him being one of those nutjob christian types, the fact that Palcic tweeted out support for Kamala Harris and similar things recently (four days after she did, she was fired...hmmm) is making it look like the only culture the Texans are interested in is one that is of a theocratic nature. Which should scare people a lot.

Here's an article about it from Pro Football Talk.

Watts as its claimed says Palcic helped make his hurricane relief he raised money for a success. Imagine firing a woman who raised money for people and claiming , "She no longer fit the culture..." What a trash franchise. Stills wants out , Watt has voiced he has wanted out before this and the decision here will make him wanna go.

Yeah, that sounds like the sort of shitty move a butthurt Trumpanzee would make. The Texans have fast become a dumpster fire of a franchise.

Since that won't be a possibility until sometime next season, McCarthy is safe until then. Jerry's ego comes first until it impacts the team's bottom line. He'll ignore what fans say unless they are saying it with their wallets, so all the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Cowboy fanbase won't impact his decision unless their actions follow suit and it cuts into his revenue stream. With the NFL's limits on attendance due to COVID, there's no way for Jerry to pin the economic impact on his terrible choice for coach, and the record this season can be blamed on lack of training camp and pre-season with a new coach (again due to COVID) and injuries, not on Jerry's decision to hire McCarthy. So as long as he has other scapegoats and dodges to protect his ego, McCarthy will be safe. Mike Nolan however, is likely gone as DC by season's end and he will be the scapegoat for the poor performance of the Dallas D and give Jerry another layer of cover for his poor decision to hire McCarthy. And Jerry is nothing if not stubborn and ego-centric, so as long as he has outs which allow him to dodge admitting his mistake, McCarthy will be around no matter how much sense it would make to ditch him and how likely he would be gone if it were a team with a different owner.

I'm gonna agree... it's more likely when Dallas fans start flipping their season tickets and Cowboys games on TV start having the opposing fans "invade" AT&T Stadium... that's when Jerrah gets embarrassed enough to make a move.

Too many AFC L's early on the the Colts to be scary even in an expanded post-season but always good to flip off the Tacks. Good division win though!
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

I don't see much of the Colts here in the northeast, so I was surprised at how good their defense is, holding the Titans scoreless in the second half of last night's game.

Vegas needs to put Denver away in the second half, they've been letting hang around too long

Arizona was down 14 points early in the 3rd quarter. Score 17 unanswered to take a 26-23 lead early in the 4th.

With 34 seconds left, Josh Allen hits Stephon Diggs for a TD on a perfect throw.

Arizona just had Kyler Murray throw a Hail Mary to DeAndre Hopkins to go up 32-30 with 2 seconds left. Hopkins pulled it down with FOUR defenders around him.

HOLY S***, this might have just topped the Arizona/Seattle game from a couple weeks ago for game of the year.

It's the strength of the team. Packers are next so Darrus Leonard vs. Aaron Rogers is gonna be a good test. Jags put 20 up on GB today is good too.

Deandre Hopkins! Waoooaw. I was just gonna say the top of the AFC includes Buffalo and Miami, still does but way to go Arizona. Puts some extra on Thursday night with a Hawks loss today. Lol, Bill OBrien.

I'll note also that Kyler Murray is on pace for 1000 yards rushing, and 4000 yards passing.

A game like this, he's probably now the favorite for the MVP.

(Fun fact: This is Arizona's first comeback from 14 down since 2009, the year Kurt Warner led the team to the Super Bowl.)

Good news: Carson Wentz didn’t suffer any turnovers today

Bad news: The Eagles defense was carved up in a 27-17 loss to the Giants

However, thanks to that tie against Cincinnati, we remain percentage points ahead for first place in NFC Least. Whoo.

Saw Philly had 11 penalties and did not convert a third down.

That's definitely not a winning formula.
