So in the first quarter of todays game The Bengals luck out and get a 72 yard touchdown. That is all they get today. Zac Taylor in the post game.

Jalen Hurts took over for the Eagles to start the second half and threw his first touchdown pass halfway through the fourth quarter. Then, while I was typing those words, WR Jalen Reagor returned a Green Bay punt 75 yards to cut the Packers’ lead to 23-16 (PAT missed).

The Eagles wound up losing 30-16 after the defense failed to contain Green Bay late. However, Jalen Hurts didn’t look too terribly bad after playing all of the second half, nothing spectacular, mind you, but he looked better than Carson Wentz, of course, that could be attributed to there being no film on Hurts who caught the Packers off guard. Predictably, that brought up the inevitable question after the game on if Hurts or Wentz would start at home next week against New Orleans, a question head coach Doug Pederson predictably refused to answer, but, he’s going to have to, sooner or later.

Aaron Rodgers, the best QB ever, reached 400 TDs in 193 games (fewest ever), and the best TD to interception ratio ever. And he is playing at an MVP level.

The NFL's nightmare right now is the NFC East winner getting hot and running into teams losing starters to COVID to make a deep run and play in either the championship game or Super Bowl. If one of those teams makes a deep run, the whole league looks like a laughingstock. Not likely, but the Giants did beat the division leading Seahawks today, and a couple ugly win games like that in the playoffs is all it takes.

As Boomer said on CBS today , Pat Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers are the 2 best QB's in the NFL. Both just direct the game and know so well what to do. Today KC pretty much won a Post season spot in playoffs. Kelce went over 1,000+ yards for the 5th straight season at TE. He now has over 7500+ career receiving yards . Pretty decent for a man who Reid took a chance on in draft and knew he couldn't start that 1st season due to injury he had years ago.
The only real issue KC has is defense and the fact they can't seem to get sacks due to how things are. They need a DE and will have to address it next season in draft and likely spend a draft on defense talent. I'm not so sure about that. IMO, I don't see your scenario coming to pass, the NFC Least winner is nothing more than one round and done cannon fodder as the top teams in the conference have little to fear from Colt McCoy/Daniel Jones, Andy Dalton or Frankenleg (Alex Smith). Originally Posted by MRP
