    NFL News....

    - With the shocking win of the NY Jets today , the Jacksonville Jaguars are the proud owners of the overall #1 draft pick. The team is on the clock as Trevor Lawrence should be considered the prize that a lot of teams (including Jacksonville) covet. Meanwhile the NY Jets will get the #2 pick odds are and could see some trades up for Fields who has Mahomes comparisons.

    - In order to avoid a huge drop in the NFL Salary cap (the league expects it to drop) the league and NFLPA are gonna approve a 17th regular season game starting next season. It will be the 1st time in 42+ years the league has added games to schedule since going to 16 games in 1978. The 17th game will see the league net more TV money and soften the blow the salary cap to not be as major.

If Dallas continues to beat up on the Birds, and NY and WTF lose, what happens to the NFC East?
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Oh, so NOW the Chargers decide to win some games. Where was all this when it actually mattered?

Well, my Eagles will soon be dead along with the Giants. If WFC loses, they and Dallas will be tied at 6-9, but the Deadskins will be in first because of a better divisional record. If WFC beats the Eagles next week, I guess they’ll claim the division.

If WTF loses and NY beats Dallas, it's a three way 6-10 tie, and NY gets the tie breaker.

A legit question. How do Philly fans feel about Hurts after today? Do you still want him over Carson? Was today just a bad game for an inexperienced QB?

So now the Jags get Lawrence and probably their choice of available Head Coaches.
The Jets might stay with Darnold, but are way down on the desirable destination for head coaches.

That bad day for Hurts was inevitable, though it was frustrating that it happened against a defense that was near the bottom statistically speaking. It certainly didn’t help that the Eagles’ wounded secondary was torched, scorched and barbecued by Andy Dalton and those speedy wideouts, especially Michael Gallup who had a Canton worthy day, forcing Hurts into passing on every down to catch up after Philly fell into a ridiculous hole, playing right into the Cowboys’ hands. All things considered, I’m not ready to give up on Hurts who shows promise, today was the sort of dumpster fire that was bound to happen to a green rookie put into an untenable situation.

Loving Rodgers and the Pack having their way, up 18-0. But I've seen great first half and lousy 2nds a few times this year. GB has to win out to secure 1st seed in the NFC. And all home teams for them will be BIG.

Green Bay is making it look crazy easy against one of the stouter defenses in the league.

Titans score and get it right back in the 2nd half. GB should have taken the FG on 4th and 3.
Up 15 is much better than up 12.

Two terrible gaffs by the refs so far. First the phantom offsides and now that missed foot out of bounds. The ref was right there too.
