Hope the move is going well. Thanks for keeping track of these. I really wish DC would ramp up the digitization of their books because the holes in the runs available are massive.

That said, I had no idea they printed an Elvira book, let alone two. Huh.

Are the last 3 issues of Kirby's THE DEMON not yet digitized (#13-#16)?

I looked at Comixology and they have not digitized them as individual issues.
They are available in the digital trade, however, which can only be purchased on Comixology.
DC Comics doesn't allow DC Universe access to the digital trades. Only the single issues.
This may change when they rebrand. It would be an easy way to add more comics to the service by adding all the digital trades.

I think the original Night Force series is another one that's collected completely in a digital trade, but not in single issues.

    They had 12 issues.
What's surprising to me is that it was around the peak of Elvira's popularity and it was still cancelled.

Thanks for looking that up for me! I didn't even think to check the digital trade!

I might just buckle up and buy the digital trade.

I'm hoping that when the rebrand happens DC just puts everything on streaming. I hate the half in/half out approach.

    I agree.
That's kept me from buying things that I would've bought immediately.

The first five years of JLI still isn't complete.
And over at Marvel, they're still missing a handful of the '80s Dr. Strange issues.
Plugging those holes would've led me to buying the full runs back when I had the money to spend.

The gaps kill me. O'Neil/Cowan's masterpiece run on the Question is there but they don't have The Question Quarterly, their follow up which ties up some loose ends and just further wrenches your heart. I admit I don't tend to buy digital issues because I'd much rather own physical, but I adore DC Universe for my late night reading before bed (where I'm liable to pass out and ruin physical books but tablets are no worse for wear) so I hope they continue to digitize these wonderful books.

    Same here.
I think the Grell Green Arrow run is another that's complete in digital trade but is still incomplete in single issues.

Just realized I didn't post last week. We were playing host to a hurricane evacuee and just now getting caught up around the house.

So, this last week we got:

    Batman #195
Static Shock: Rebirth of the Cool #2
    Super Friends #30
    Tales of Ghost Castle #1
    Wonder Woman #305

Only five backlog issues last week, but I guess they figure 24 recent comics and digital firsts were enough.

For most it will be, and frankly going with more current than backlog is better for attracting new readers which is what digital appeals more to. I do want that backlog filled, but I can't fault them for chasing their target demographic.
