Default Walking Dead Rick and Michonne series announced

This will replace the Rick Grimes movies which were planned but met with several delays. Rick of course was last seen taken by CRM after being badly wounded, he didn't show up in the World Beyond series (although his rescuer, Jadis, did). Michonne uncovered clues she was still alive and set on her own, leaving their children (Rick Jr.-who Rick probably doesn't know about-and Judith) under the care of Daryl.

It'll be a limited series apparentally. We're also getting the Maggie/Negan spinoff and a Daryl one (but without Carol as Melissa Mcbride can't commute to Europe).

Kind of curious if Jadis and Silas (From World Beyond) will show up. Especially since Jadis has pretty much gone full villain/authoritarian. I could see Silas maybe helping Rick out from the inside, especially since had a job similar to what Rick's might be (Basically Walker clean-up).

Why can't Melissa McBride commute to Europe?

I think they put it on the back burner for too long. Interest waned too much the Walking Dead. I still would like to see where it leads but not for another long season, so a mini is the option for that.

She lives in Georgia so probably part of the reason she was in TWD was because it was filmed nearby (Despite the setting moving northward by season 6, it was still mostly filmed in Georgia). Think a lot of her roles in TV and movies have been mainly filmed in Georgia or nearby.

Norman however has been all over the place, not only in the USA but in Europe over his career.

So who knows what kind of obligations she has that she don't want to move too far away from home. I didnt like her character anyway, so better for me to watch a Daryll solo show.
