A lot of pictures involving Hitler getting punched.

So many covers to choose from.

Kudos to Kai and ajax for finding a Rex. I could have done kudos to many others though.

I did check, no picture of Gladiator punching the Enterprise.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I don't care if it's an homage, I'm voting for Riv86672's ASM #270. I have fond memories of that issue, and I love that it drives people that take comics/power comparisons too seriously nuts.

I've been busy, so a late entry just for the hell of it.

BTW, if anyone wants to take care of parts 8 & 9 tomorrow feel free, I may only get to it tomorrow night otherwise.

I'm voting Iron Maiden, cause it looks to me like Namor is punching Lobo (alien bounty hunter from DC) cosplaying as Grigori Rasputin.

ChadH for the double sandwich and also because I've seen that dozens of items already while doing a Supes vs CM search.

    Congratulations to MRP.

And thanks to ChadH for the vote, and Javasaurus for the HM. I've always been fascinated by that Jonah Hex cover. It's such wonderful frozen moment of action.

Great job MRP. It was a great cover.
Thanks to the four who voted for me. It tied my record.
I love green suit Quicksilver. I would love to find a green action figure to go with my Avengers. But I have the blue suit so its not so bad.

Congratulations to MRP for a Golden Marvelous cover which was ahead of its time by a few months. I'd say more but I need material for...

The Peak of the Week where the captain extols what he has learned in this week's contest. Hitler is bad, but we knew that anyway. At least those of us with brains and coherent thought processes did. What the captain learned is that the original usually trumps (pun unintended) the copy. I'd also like to re-recommend the Fuhrer and Tramp book which is a fun tale of early Hollywood and world politics with some amazing cast members.
