Likely Bashenga, the first Black Panther. We see what looks to be the vibranium meteor crashing into what would become Wakanda. Seems like he forged a vibranium short spear imbued with lightning powers. It looks exactly like the sword we've seen Storm using in some of the art for X of Swords.

I'm thinking she's come to ask the Wakandan Royal Family to borrow it and may be forced to steal it. The question is what does Wakanda have to do with whatever's going on with X of Swords? Bashenga was way before Apocalypse's time but maybe whatever enchantment Bashenga or the Wakandan gods cast on the sword is important to Storm's arc in the event?

I was really hoping she would get the Sword of Bone

Something related to her own ancestry instead of something she has to borrow from T'Challa

Bring it on, love the look even if it's brief and its about time her relationship with Wakanda is brought up in the xbooks.

I'm usually not a fan of Ororo in white but yes...I LOVE the geometric design of the black and white colour comibination and I love that they kept the asymmetrical cut of her cape.

Bashenga is known for his spear, not sword.

I think we can safely assume that Bashenga (if that is in fact him) created multiple weapons throughout his life. It's not hard to believe that if he was one of the first humans to forge vibranium that he would've made different things for different purposes. The Spear of Bashenga is mostly a spiritual weapon, this short sword could be something he used explicitly for war. And since it seems to project energy it might be something blessed by the Wakandan gods or an ancestor of Ororo.

The Sword of Bones WAS a sword definitely, magical, and belonging to Storm's ancestor Ashake, who also invented tarot. Big missed opportunity, since it was right there and on theme.
