I'm happy Storm is getting this wonderful focus and we're going to learn more about her. Something that we can all agree has been lacking. I'm stoked.

It's great to finally get a Storm focused issue. Kitty and Emma have been hogging all the spotlight in the Duggan written issues

ALL HAIL THE HADARI YAO, THE OMEGA'S OMEGA, BEYOND OMEGA, THE VOICE OF SOL!!!! NOW AGAIN THE ONE TRUE AND ONLY GODDESS OF THE X-MEN AS CLAREMONT INTENDED!!!!!
Did they make Shuri younger to match the MCU? She looks younger that I remember her.
It really isn't. Ororo still hangs around with the women of wakanda because she's nice and has an affinity for them but in truth, her marriage to T'challa is just a blip in her rich life story. She has her own ancestry, family history and upbringing that has nothing to do with Wakanda and the fact that they're starting to erase Ororo real connection to Kenya for a fictional African country is starting to tick me off as an African because it feels like marvel is telling us stories about a fictional Africa are better than stories inspired/about existing African countries. Plus it's starting to feel a bit like these writers view Africa as some sort of monolith, why would Wakanda feel like 'home' to Storm, a Kenyan woman who spent the first 19 years of her life in Egypt. Just because two neighbouring countries have cultural similarities doesn't mean that they're identical or the same to the point where you can swap one for the other.
Well Shuri is supposed to be a teenager/young adult so I'm glad they now draw her looking her age instead of looking like a an older and more sexualised version. Kinda how Jubilee and Cassie lang were supposed to be 13 but artists drew them looking several years older for years.
