    Default Obi-Wan and Anakin, #1

Before their military heroism in the Clone Wars, before their tragic battle on Mustafar, and many decades before their final confrontation on the Death Star...they were Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan learner, Anakin Skywalker. It's been a few years since Obi-Wan pledged to train the young "chosen one," but even as they have grown closer through training, it has been a difficult road. Now, called to a remote planet for assistance, Master and Padawan may be pushed to the breaking point. It is nice to see Obi-Wan and Anakin together again, if only just in print.

Since Disney's decanonized most of the EU, this era is sort of more fresh than before (Although only a few EU books really dealt with the TPM/AOTC gap, and most of those focused on other Jedi, with a few exceptions like Rogue Planet, Outbound Flight and the Jedi Quest novels/comics).

I wonder if Palpatine will have a role to play as well, puffing up Anakin's ego and discontent with Obi-Wan and the Jedi, as we don't really get to see much of them interacting until ROTS.
