Has there ever been a "psychic virus" in the marvel universe? Like a virus which only exist in a sort of psychic metaphysical form which can reside in a persons mind but only affects telepaths and can only be transmitted through them? Slowly degrading their minds without actualy damaging their physical brain.

It would certainly put a damper on the various telepaths going around reading and manipulating minds, knowing any one could harbor a sort of mental landmine. Same for the replication process if nobody can access the Cerbero storage anymore. Even worse if the thing got into the memory storage.
