Default What book would you like Mark Waid on?

so Waid is back at dc for the first time in years. With a lot of titles like getting new creative teamd or ending, what would you be interested in tackling? Characters he's already written extensively like Flash or Superman, or maybe something he hasn't done? Also how was his recent stuff at marvel?

As long as he is not writing the Legion of Superheroes again, the better. I could see him writing JSA, or maybe something related to Teen Titans or Young Justice.

    Other: Shazam

Already done a bit on Flash and Superman, wouldn't be really interested in him on Wonder Woman and Green Lantern would depend on what Lantern he focused on.

    Mark Waid MARK? WAID?!?

Gawd, what wouldnt i want him on? Any of the poll choices would get some of my not at all hard earned retirement sheckles. In the end though i voted other, because i instantly had visions of Kamandi dancing in my head.

    Of those listed, Superman/AC.

I'd take him on Nightwing as well though

There's quite a few things I'd give him a chance on. But honestly, I'm picking Superman/AC over other options because its the most likely destination more than anything.

Waid's capable of some absolutely terrific stories and he's been wanting to write Superman for his entire career. It's possible he holds the character too precious and his run would suffer for it, but he deserves that shot. Superman all the way.

Voted for Teen Titans/Young Justice but I would like to see him work on a Bat book considering his work on Daredevil over at Marvel and a Justice Society book. I love JLA: Year One and I think his knowledge of the DCU will help bring DC continuity back on track.

Years ago at Wonder Con, Waid said he had submitted to DC what he felt was the best Superman story he'd ever done but they were just sitting on it. If that's true, I hope we get an opportunity to see that story published.

I was going to vote I Hate Mark Waid because his recent stuff like Avengers was so boring, but then I remembered I loved his Daredevil. His balance of the alter egos was so well done, I would love to see him on Superman I think. I would say Batman but I don't think we are going to be getting a low profile Batman anytime soon, but Clark could use rebalancing after Bendis.

Since DC doesn't own Ruse, I guess I'll vote for the original Crimson Avenger.
