    No judgement, just curious why 2D films making a comeback (even if small) is an old man's dream
    Oh i have nothing against it and of course a new movie made like that could enjoy success but the whole industry is not going back to that very simply cause hand-drawn animation it's so more tedious and time consuming than working on a computer.

    That goes beyond a simple question of visual taste.

    Obviously not the whole industry, I don't think anyone thinks it could. But it can carve out a niche. If just a quarter or a fifth of animated films are 2D that'd be great. Better than now where it's a nonfactor.

    Ironic thing about bluth wanting 2D films back on the big screen is his long in the works dragon's lair movie---is going right to netflix! Ouch!

    How is that a bad thing? There's really no were else to release it right now really.
