Another Plus to living in Central City is its right across the river from Keystone. Living in either city means you basically get a twofer, as you can easily hang out in both places.

    What's so great about Opal?

Not being sarcastic, its an honest question. I mean, Gotham and Bludhaven are options and i dont understand that really, as one gets destroyed every other year, and one is a crime ridden cesspool who's champion no longer lives there.

I voted Other as Paradise Island and the Rock of Eternity were not listed.

Opal City. Beautiful architecture, lots of culture, a rich and interesting history, guarded by a handful of superheroes, and it's quiet enough to not get constantly attacked by mass-murdering supervillains or destroyed by natural disasters and alien invasions. It's the jewel of DC's fictitious cities, and probably stands alongside Gotham and Metropolis as a fully realized place with character of its own.

in retrospect, I mainly had urban areas and cities in mind but I probably shoulda went with more general locations.

you know what's crazy, I had Opal City on here before but took it off because I didnt think the Starman crowd would've pulled up so deep; went with Star City instead smh. I blame the fact that I haven't actually read Starman.

Putting "obvious choice" made me pause and think, okay, I won't go with those two because yeah that's too obvious. What stands out the most after them?

Smallville Star, Keystone and Central City seem like the clear frontrunners, but I gotta send some love to a forgotten classic of yesteryear.

    Opal City.

Robinson made that place feel like it stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Gotham and it's got so much character that even those two lack at times. It has a unique look and feel that matches Jack Knight to a T. Wonderful setting that I wish had more play in DC, but then I remember Bludhaven's fate in 2006 so perhaps it's for the best.

THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

No one should underestimate us Starman fans also, you need to stop what you are doing and read it now! My all time favorite comic series.

There was one I started in 2017 that was resurrected where I asked, which DC city would you want to live in.
