This week we have the first Friday night Premier League game, Villa vs Man Utd. A few friends have expressed their displeasure at this change. Any thoughts, opinions?

Not wild about it BUT lower league clubs and even Scottish clubs have Friday games so I suppose it's not that big a deal.

I heard something about the Police requesting the change, don't know why though if it's true.

Anyhows, back to the football LOL. I'm looking forward to the first home game of the season against Bournemouth tomorrow, should be an entertaining game. Obviously I'm hoping we make it 2 wins out of 2 as well LOL.

It might keep the doubters quiet for awhile. Never been sure about Martinez myself, it will be interesting to see what he can do with Everton this season.

So glad the football is back! Wasn't a bad opening game for City against WBA. Sticking it to a Pulis team is so satisfying because the guy is basically anti-football. Only one game but Vinny and Yaya looked (and sounded) like they are back to a good level and I Silva/Aguero can continue last season form then I'm optimistic.

Really looking forward to the Chelsea game tomorrow.

I guess its decent to have a little footy on the TV Friday night but not ideal if you're going. I heard a lot of the Villa/Man U fans weren't too happy and there was a pretty drab atmosphere. Though, I guess you can blame the atmosphere on the boring game?

Apparently, Friday night Prem games will be a regular occurrence next season.

That was rather unlike the recent City v Chelsea matches. We had soooo much time on the ball and Silva was just magical, could watch him all day.
