In HtH, he casually shreds all of them.

Armed... Legolas, once you add Hobbit stupidity, can probably keep him pretty pinned down, allowing the others to flank and kill. If this was Legolas from just the LotR series, I'd probably still give the win to Cap, but he gets pretty superhuman in the Hobbit nonsense.

I was just thinking that, if modern age Elves can do that, that little detachment Elron sent to Helm's Deep should have killed the entire Orc army without breaking a sweat. Instead of dying like bitches.

Probably. The Galadhrim should have been a cut above Legolas at least. Galadriel basically says “Lol, here’s a REAL bow and arrow, cous’.”

Though in the book Haldir mentions that their strength lies in secrecy rather than open warfare. I enjoy the LOTR movies well enough but they frequently butcher Tolkien’s excellent depiction of military action because DRAMA.
