Congratulations to Ravin' Ray for a Marvelous cover. Bot Amanda Conner and the Fearless Defenders series have done much to increase female representation in superhero funny books and that's actually a good thing (not a Ben Grimm thing, but the other kind of thing).

And what the captain has learned this week in today's Peak of the Week! The Kubert School is an organization I had heard of but didn't know had such a wide variety of talent coming through its doors. I had false assumptions about a curriculum which homogenized artist into Joe Kubert clone, but seeing the variety of examples shown here AND extrapolating that to the other works by these artists and those not even mentioned, it becomes clear that the Kubert School takes talent and both multiplies and directs it to optimize an artist's potential. Way cool topic and one we can all get something out of.

Yeah, Doom will never be totally good no matter how hard he tries but I enjoyed that series while it lasted.

And thanks again for the vote!
