I believe you get it wrong on Swamp Thing. Tom King only write Swamp King on Winter Special. The Writers on Swamp Thing during the New 52 are Scott Snyder and Charles Soule, but you are on point on Snyder and Soule did a hella job on writing Swamp Thing during the New 52. Especially Charles Soule. His Swamp Thing is second only to Alan Moore and that is saying something with how many big writers already written Swamp Thing.

Agreed. See how Johns on Aquaman was the template for the billion dollar movie, Dick being considerably worse off since Grayson was cut short for Dixon nostalgia, and Morrison on Superman almost always trumps anyone else.

Lot of great stuff mixed in with some terrible stuff. But same can be said for any era.

Best is Patrick Gleason on Damian Wayne in Robin Son of Batman
I don't know who's the worst yet since the worst for me is often DC/WB's decision than the writers that the writers don't stand out

Oops, my mistake, yes you are right on that, got turned around on the writers there.

Gotham by Midnight is really enjoyable though like nearly all DC YOU stuffs it lagged in the middle to the end of run. I think the best of DC YOU era would be the Omega Men by Tom King and Barnaby Bagenda.

All right well I guess I could pick Ron Marz, though he claims Emerald Twilight was orders from the head office.

I effectively boycotted Kyle's run as GL, so I can't pick any of the other writers from that series because I have not read there work.

I...just...can't....get...into Morrison's work. He writes Hal well, but I find myself falling asleep reading his run, I had to drop it.

Let me fill that NA in for you. Rick Veitch's Question mini series was unbearable.
