Yeah, Civil War II and IVX screwed it over. It ended with a CWII tie-in, but She-Hulk would've been off the team afterwards because she was in a coma (she was also in Hellcat's supporting cast and was removed there too). IVX almost immediately after would've resulted in Medusa leaving the team. That would've left only Captain Marvel, Singularity, Dazzler and Nico Minoru. The book couldn't have lasted more than another year without a major roster change either, since Carol, Alison and Nico all joined other teams.

I wonder if Excalibur even has a future past X of Swords? The December issue's solicits sounds suspiciously like a finale, and the cover looks like one too.

I’m not up to date and don’t look too closely at the solicits so I’ve no idea. If he’d be available for a CB & MI-13 book, that’d be great. If not, there is still plenty of great UK characters I’d like to see more of.
