Default Clark Kent VS Bruce Wayne

I’ve always wondered what how capable a warrior Supes was without his powers.

This thread assumes he has all of the fighting styles he’s learned but he no longer has any of his powers that he has as Superman. No freeze breath, heat vision and so on

Bruce is Bruce, of course. No Batman gear. All of the skills he’s learned.

Their stats are completely equal, this is a pure fight of fighting skills.

Bats obviously. Supes fights due to being a God.

Bruce trains in an attempt to “beat” such things in his way.

Even with stats equal so Batman isn't superhuman, Batman wins easily. This is his whole schtick. I suppose we could invoke some Silver Age story where Superman is a master of all Kryptonian martial arts. But, even in the Silver Age, his entire training was built around using his powers.
    Power with Girl is better.

Yeah, Bruce cooks Clark real easy all things equal.

Much more experience of conventional fighting and wildly better trained.

Clark is good in a fight and has tremendous determination but he's outclassed here.

Yeah, he isn't taking comics Bruce. Maybe some of the less skilled incarnations (for instance, I'm not sure Bale Batman will appreciate getting hit in his pressure points)

Even if Clark tries to use Torquasm-Vo, he will lose. It would shift the fight to a mental battle of wills on the Astral Plane, and Bruce isn't losing a battle of wills.

Clark would generally need access to the physical abilities a depowered Kryptonian has while on earth and the writers remember Krypton has 5x Earths gravity(im assuming that is what he was back in NU after he used the Super Flare) in order for this to be a fight.

I don't recall Clark when being depowered, showing such strength in other stories. Clue me in if he did.

To go old school, when Clark boxes Mohammed Ali he was not showing 5X strength.

As i said, it isn't something that the writers always remember. It was when NU Superman was with Wonder Woman, and had used the Super Flare, depowering him to essentially his Action Comics #1 self. Couldn't fly or anything, just basic super human strength:

Ended up having to do something drastic and fly a space plane right into the sun in order to get his powers back.
