I just thought that maybe Marauders would be a great place to showcase Sofia.
Storm is bound to leave the team soon, as she really should get a bigger focus elsewhere, so Sofia would fit right in.
A team of sailors could really use someone who can create and control winds. Maybe Hellion could join too so they could explore his loyalty to Emma.

That would be awesome. Sofia as a pirate queen. And Hellion's already all set for a hook hand (if not an eyepatch). I'd buy that.

If DoX takes into account past events .. I would say that Sofia would feel embarrassed or rejected by her colleagues for how she left and did not say goodbye or did not attend Laurie's funeral, and would try to connect with others and for example talk more With those of generation X, I do not say that is the case but because of how Sofia's personality is...

To the point, I say that the best thing for her would be her generation and one free for all.

I'd love to see her rotate in with the New Mutants crowd -- get her doing some mission work alongside Dani for example.
I'd also be pleased as punch to see her join the X-Factor group -- both to reacclimate alongside her friend David, but also to pay it forward for any/all other missing/dead mutants in need of help/restoration.
