    http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft...chinima-merger

does this indicate the stability (or maybe not) of wb or time warner. any possible positive effects on my favorite dc characters and what not.

Not much significance. Wb is used to buying studios, game developers and what not.

Imagine if Fox did buy Warner. They could have Wolverine join the Justice League!

    i'd rather not. lol.

does fox own the predator and alien franchise? predators and aliens wearing yellow and/or red lantern rings. that would be a fun thriller/action flick.

I've just read somewhere that comcast is set to merge/acquire time warner cable. What does this mean? Will time warner get smaller and be more vulnerable to corporate take over? Will they be more stronger with the merge?

Time Warner Cable is separate from Time Warner. They spun out that division years ago.

From what I've heard from the talking heads on the financial shows, the Securities and Exchange Commision(SEC) never met a merger they didn't like. So yeah, there maybe a good chance of it going through.

Geez. Shareholders are a fickle bunch. Stock price up and profit up, yet because of net revenues, there's a panic? Yeesh.

This does bode well for DC properties, though. There are no DC movies this year or next. So if total revenue remains flat, then they become that much more important to the overall health of WB and are not just rushed through as in previous regimes.

more news on warner brothers laying off employees

    http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/09/...ss-the-studio/

so they need to "reduce costs and reallocate resources" to maintain their position as industry leader. how would this affect dc comics?
