I wouldn't call kids a coming if age movie or Barton Fink a comedy per say.

Barton Fink is a black comedy. As for Kids, it's dark as hell, but it does star kids. It's in the title.

Is that just a typo and you meant the Harry Palmer flick Billion Dollar Brain? If so, you've got off-beat tastes as I don't think I've ever met anyone who has picked this over Ipcress or Funeral. Not that it doesn't have things going for it: the opening titles are cool, as is the soundtrack, from what I remember.

I think we just supply our own genres; you can’t count on everyone being interested in everything, even giving tastes their own differences.

    Action: Die Hard.

    Parody: Young Frankenstein

    Swashbuckler: Adventures of Robin Hood

    Superhero: The Dark Knight

Spaghetti Western: For a Few Dollars More

Pulp-fiction: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Horror:... Freddy Vs Jason (sorry, I don’t actually like being scared)

Sci-Fi/Fantasy (Space Opera) : Star Wars - Return of the Jedi

    Sci-Fi (Hard): The Martian

Fantasy: Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

Damn. I accidentally conflated Billion Dollar Brain with the 6 Million Dollar Man lol. It's the only Harry Palmer film I've seen, but Ken Russell is my favorite director. I just love how bat **** insane it is and the film looks beautiful.
