I appreciate how Jordan broke-down the Jean-Phoenix-Madelyne relationship. It goes to show that at least the current editors in X-Office know and understand the Inferno Storyline. It would be beneficial if we could get a flashback scene to the QC meeting, so that a clear explanation was provided for those who haven’t read Inferno. It is a really good question as to who exact is this “Madelyne”. Is she a psychic eco crates by X-Man, is she a alternate reality Jean/Madelybe, or a Phoenix Fragment unleashed in Phoenix: Endsong? It has never been properly explored in narrative since she appeared in the Brubaker/Fraction run.

Yea its pretty much what Ive been saying and Im pleased that he reaffirmed it. As for your second point, this is the same Maddie that X-man created as thats the one that Fraction used and that was followed up on in Wood's when she returned and got a real body. I think Maddie's comments about Havok and the rest not realizing she was back was a callback to that

Yeah I think that Merlin and Roma specifically gave Brian the sword so they could have their champion in this battle that's coming. Merlin is shady like that.

In all the recent artwork, yeah pretty much. Emma usually has a lower cut top and Saturnyne has that red jewel belt, that’s the only real difference, lol

It's compounded by the tendency of most comic artists to give characters, especially female ones, similar facial features. I love Larraz' art, but his women do have the same face. It could be alleviated by Larraz giving Emma the Dauterman hairstyle, but mostly the only way to tell the two apart from only the headshots is that Emma generally has more yellow blonde hair and Saturnyne has more white blonde hair.

Considering the trend in the current X-men comics and about Emma's personal luxury providers. I would guess there is a four armed mutant with detachable fur that he can color in any way she desires.
