Either Ghostbusters, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, or Monsters, Inc.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

The Shining (1980), Halloween (1978), Trick R Treat (2007) or Sleepy Hollow (1999) At least one of those will either get saved for Halloween night, or have a repeat viewing.

Classics: old Universal or Hammer studio films or anything with Vincent Price. Those are the quintessentially "Halloweeny" movies to me.

Addam's Family The 90s live action:
Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci take.

Haven't seen the new animated version yet. Although I love the attempt to go back to the Charles Addams illustrations, the plastic looking cg just didn't work for me.
Somehow the live action still captured it better.

    Great Pumpkin
Also Nightmare before. And Corps Bride.
And now COCO kicks off the season and spirit Nov. 1

Yeh all pretty light takes on the horror theme.

Same here. Especially Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi films.

Halloween (1978) and The Shining. At least one gets watched every year.

I watched The Shining last night. The night before, I watched The Masque of the Red Death, starring Vincent Price and Jane Asher. Interestingly, Jane Asher was dating Paul McCartney around the time the film was made.
Watching television is not an activity.

There are at least 4 that I try to watch each Halloween.

Night of the Living Dead (1969)
    Halloween (1978)
    Halloween II (1980)
    The Shining

    Halloween (1978)

And this year, for the first time, I started to watch all of the Friday the 13th movies. Didn't make it to X or Freddy vs Jason before the 31st, though.

Unfortunately, I haven't found that one that I like to watch during Halloween. I'm hoping it started this year with Event Horizon.
