What Wonder Woman Writers Can Learn From Tanjiro

We often see this debate about whether Wonder Woman should be primarily a tough warrior or an empathetic peacemaker, but the truth is she should be both. The two roles are not contradictory, as demonstrated by Tanjiro.



Tanjiro is a popular shonen protagonist. While he is able to sympatize with demons through the understanding that they were once humans who had their lives go terribly wrong, he still condemns any who kill innocent humans and does not hesitate to cut them down, like Batman would. The demons he slays are sometimes just relieved that someone has finally "recognized" them or their good qualities.

I view her a bit like Geralt, hence the master witcher profile. Someone that can work with monsters/magical beings and understands that some of them have thoughts and feelings and arent truely evil, but also understands that some need to be killed to save lives. The same could be said about the humans he works for too.
