That happens with me too. I've seen Conn's Team-Up #60 several times but didn't pay enough attention and later, after I gave the stink face, I was like, Ohhhh, that's hard. I'm on IG primarily for comics so I've seen it but never looked at it. I'll be better. :thumbs up:

    And congratulations to Scott.

Meanwhile, my attempt to appeal the youth vote appears to have failed. Back to the drawing board.
Hey, I need my little change. :right on:

The cover was done by the Alan Davis. I've used this cover before actually and it was a winner! (Baby It's Cold Outside) I thought it might give me luck again I know we've had covers that have won twice, usually submitted by different posters.

    New contest up!

I'm so sorry to be late. Thank you so much for the votes - seismic-2, nx01a, MRP, ChadH and Rob Allen. Severin is such an incredible pro, and I agree with Kirby101 that there is some Marie in that cover as well. I can only dream of being half the artist to make a drawing like that,

Look at the timing! Brian Cronin discusses Shalla Bal's entry, Avengers #61, in his "From a Different Point of View" feature for Comics Should be Good.

LOL, that's pretty wild! Thanks Ray

In Avengers #61 the two page splash was page 1 for the Fire part...and then you had to turn the page over to page 2 for the Ice page. Roy Thomas, the writer (and really the defacto Avengers editor at the time), has said that he should've placed that art so that the pages faced each other, for example on pages 2 and 3 ... as shown in the image in Brian's column or in the image Kirby101 posted upthread.

Personally I like the way it appeared in the published comic; you're look at that opening splash and then you turn the page...and there's more!

Anyway that Avengers has some of the most beautifully-realized comic book art ever, by Buscema and his best (IMO) inker George Klein.
