Apocalypse sacrificed his wife, his most powerful followers and his children to save the world, he has missed them for thousands of years.

Of course that's his point of view.

From Arakko's point of view, Apocalypse is a dick that used them to maintain his power on Earth. They hate him.

I guess Logan is appearing on Stasis. He is one of the sword wielders.

Magneto is going to bring SWORD down on top of Pogg.

Did they leave Unus behind? I know they probably didn't, but I think it's kind of funny that we didn't see them rescue him and they pretty much forgot about him.

may this issue stand as pure evidence that YES this is the best x-men era in a decade and it stands for the history books

Tini + Hickman did what they had to do, XoS has already devoured empyre as the main event of the year.
Absolutely, yes! And the fact that they took advantage of the lockdown time to rework and buff this up? So exciting.

Also great showing for Polaris and Monet. Though I kinda wish Hickman's and Leah's Polaris interpretations of the character sounded more consistent lol.

RIP Rockslide. I see the game Summoner was playing with him was trying to prove a point...
Im thoroughly impressed by Saturyne. I love it

it makes his actions more understandable, replacing his family non stop but they always fail, making the world living hell because that's what his loved ones were going trough

    Wow. What a fantastic opening!

Seeing Polaris, Jean, and Siryn, made me incredibly happy. Three of my favorites. Howard/Hickman work really well together.

Not only she looks like Emma, but she also have the same "don't give a f..." personality. They should put the two on an scene together, we will be so confused.

I believe that by having replaced Roma as Regent of the Starlight Citadel, Saturnyne will also have acquired her powers.

The typical case of "The ruler of a magical dimension is almost omnipotent while in that magical dimension", as Magik in Limbo or Mephisto in Hell.

Nevertheless, it explains the confusion over the collection.
They switched Glob Herman and a Trinary look-alike for Rockslide and Summoner.

This also adds depth to both his moments of "softness" and cruelty to his Four Horsemen. Sometimes he takes pity on them because they remind him of his children but at other times the fact that they are not his children makes him despise them.

Apocalypse is so out of character. For someone who is all about survival of the fittest, he came off very weak and vulnerable. Granted that was his family, why is he so naive and trustful. He barely fought back after he was stabbed. Apocalypse never runs away from a good fight. And why is he going to war with a random bunch of strangers. Whatever happen to his mutant minions that did his bidding back in the day. He would have been better off bringing Gideon and Selene. Homeboy should have brought serious firepower. It’s one thing to be outsmarted but to portray the character with such naïveté is straight up disrespectful. There better be a plot twist. I just expected more from Mr. Survival of the Fittest.
