    Default Superheroes with Illegitimate children

I was just thinking about how a lot of superheroes and villains too, have a lot of illegitimate kids.

Thanos in particular had a lot of bastard children he tried later to kill. If Thanos has that many, shouldn’t his brother Eros have way way more?

    Or Hercules too?

Yet we never see or hear about any illegitimate children with Starfox or modern Hercules.

Remember that list of kids at the beginning of Young Avengers from Vision that wasn’t Teddy, Billy, Eli’s Uncle, and Tommy.

does illegitimate even apply anymore as a term in modern times when a big portion of the population are a by-product of being born "out of wedlock" (another tired old fashion term) lol ?

Where are Nereel and her son Peter? Seems like they were scarcely dealt with all these years later. Does Colossus even officially know he has a child by now?

He doesn’t. I figured they’d wait until Peter was a teen.
But going by the Savage Land age of Ka-Zar and Shanna’s son Matthew....Peter should be late teens by now.

Majority aren't born out of wedlock and illegitimate doesn't mean born out of wedlock

Wolverine had a bunch and then killed them

What it actually means is the product of an affair. If Prince Charles and Camilla had a baby while he was still married to Diana, that child would be illegitimate, and not entitled to be an heir to the throne. As it was, no kids came along because of that affair, she was too old to have more kids by the time they did marry.

We should probably keep gods and immortals off this list...because odds are very high that they have a ton of them. Whole civilizations even. Some Elders of the Universe, iirc, have planets filled with progeny. It just goes to show that everyone's favorite past-time isn't limited to reading books.

Mmm, I don't think I would include Elders on this list. By definition they are the last surviving member of their species. This was a point of emphasis at one point, as it included Ego. Oddly enough, it also included the Collector even though his daughter Carina was alive at the time.

illegitimate children is kind of a dated concept. I couldn't imagine calling someone an illegitimate child today just because their parents aren't married.

    But to answer your question:

    Wolverine
Luke Cage and Jessica Jones (for a few months, until they got married in Avengers)
    Cyclops
    Venom
Magneto (if you consider him a hero, X-men comics are so different these days)
    Emma Frost
    The J-man
