Default Should I focus on one big graphic novel or several one shots?

When trying to break in, should I focus on one big complete work ( Graphic novel) or should I create several one shots of different works and see which one catches on?

You should make it a poll, But I would say one complete work.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Tyler Carpenter of Draw & Talk talks about this, he reckons graphic novels are better because your reader gets the whole story and does not have to wait months for the next episode: https://youtu.be/b3g6bRLYPaA
