Default Geralt of Rivia vs. the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Instead of Link, Geralt of Rivia is somehow summoned to Hyrule by Princess Zelda, who proceeds to offer him his biggest, most lucrative Witcher contract to date: take down Calamity Ganon, with a bonus for each of the Scourges of the Divine Beasts he can take out. With crowns in his eyes, Geralt accepts this contract with gusto.

As in Breath of the Wild, Link doesn't need the Master Sword to win the game, so Geralt will NOT be using it (besides, his genetic mutations might very well render him vulnerable to the Master Sword's magic). However, he will be equipped with his basic gear. He will also be able to obtain gear from the world of BOTW.

Round I) Geralt from the original Witcher novels.

Round II) Geralt from the Witcher games (as of Wild Hunt).

Round III) Geralt from the Netflix Witcher series.

All of these are under the assumption that the three known separate Witcher series (books, games, and Netflix) are separate continuities.

The issue is Geralt comes from low fantasy where lore, prep, and such means the win.

If he has no real knowledge, he will try his best to find it before hand. So in character he would not just rush in to try to kill Ganon. That’s not his style.

Though his mutations allow him potion consumption for meta human stats (brief) and can access puny spells. But yeah, just yeah.

And his mutations are not magic but chemical treatment, Master Sword is Magic/holy based. Do not see why Geralt could not use it, he damn well would attempt it if he knew the truth to it.

He so t dumb. In his world you cannot afford it.

I wonder if he could use his "Jedi mind tricks" on grunt enemies.

I think the only enemies that Geralt would likely have trouble with are the Guardians.

If the enemies are like normal Zelda enemies ( humanoid one nature but no real defenses to speak of) do not see why Jedi stuff do t work. In Witcher it’s due to the majority of monsters being animals or magic magic ( ghosts, advanced undead, magic themselves.)

Guardians are robots with lasers, yeah Gerald gets cooked but could rig up bombs and figure out a system.
