All of the Olympian Gods comedown and bestow mortals in our world with an item which gives them them with some of their powers. They will then leave to observe from afar. You get first pick, which do you take?

NAME: Tiara of Artemis

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Price: 9

Description: A silver tiara, embedded with a small portion of the power of the Goddess Artemis.

Requirements: A young girl probably between 10 and 18, who is willing to give up the companionship of men. They don't necessarily have to not like men, just be willing to give that up. They also have to be at least partially good. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: Gives the user the speed, senses, and reaction time of Wonder Woman. She also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while she has the powers of the tiara.

She gets a bow and a refilling quiver of arrows. The arrows have three modes; regular, which are sharp enough to pierce superman, freezing which freeze any target that they hit (use feats from Captain Cold's guns), and explosive which are hill busting in strength. (Arrows shot from the bow move at Wonder Woman speeds as well). She also gets two hunting knives, as sharp and tough as Wolverine's Adamantium claws.

Disadvantages: If the user enters a romantic relationship with a man they will lose the abilities and powers granted by the Tiara. The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: Caduceus of Hermes

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Price: 9

Description: a meter long rod, with dove wings mounting the top, and two snakes wrapped around it. Embedded inside is a small portion of the God Hermes's power.

Requirements: The user must either be a thief, a businessman, or a traveler in order to use the Caduceus. They must regularly take part in anyone of those trades in order to be embeded with the powers of Hermes. They also must be at least partially good. Descendants of Hermes or Mercury, may access this as well. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed and reactions of Quicksilver, and the strength and durability of Spiderman, as well as flight (also at quicksilver speeds). They also get to the teleportation powers of Lockjaw, and the powers of the noor stone Baeth, which allows the user to teleport inorganic materials wherever they can think of, but they must know what the item looks like. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Caduceus.

Disadvantages: If the Caduceus gets stolen in any way from the user, then it they immediately get its full powerset. The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: The Lyre of Apollo

Price: 9

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A golden stringed instrument, embedded with a small portion of the power of Apollo.

Requirements: The user must either be a doctor (or relevant healer), or a musician, and must be at least partially good. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Apollo (of the Authority). As the God of Oracles, the user also gets two minutes of precog (the same as Chris Johnson from Next). They also get the photokinisis abilities equal to the Mandarin's white light ring, and pyrokinsis (and flight) at Johnny Storm levels. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Lyre.

Disadvantages: The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: The Helm and Key of Hades

Price: 10

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A black helmet which is constantly shifting into terrifying images, and a sword with a key shaped handle. Both are embedded with a small portion of the powers of Hades

Requirements: The user must have some connection with the dead, or be a descendent of Hades/Pluto. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.


Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability, strength, and reaction times of Wonder Woman. The Helm of Darkness allows its to turn intangible and invisible, and can radiate fear (at the same level as Scarecrow's fear gas), as well as manipulate darkness at the same levels as Mandarin's Darkforce ring. They can also command any dead around them, including dead enemies and allies, as well as the ability to summon up to 1,000,000 skeletons, which they command (equal to the skeletons summoned by Nico Di Angelo). He can also manipulate gold, silver, platinum, and gems (at the same degree as Terra, the dc character). The sword is capable of sending anyone who holds it or is struck by its blade to the Percy Jackson version of the Greek Underworld, (which is considered another dimension). The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Helm and Key.

Disadvantages: The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: the Hammer of Hephastus

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A flaming hammer, which is embedded with a small portion of the power of Hephaestus.

Requirements: The user must be either an inventor, or a craftsman, or a descendant of either Vulcan or Hephaestus. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as thier Patron deity, and therefore some religous characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the strength and durability of Ben Grimm. They also get the ability to manipulate metal at the same levels of Static (the DC character). He can manipulate this and any other metal (including the likes of vibranium and adamantium into complicated technological devices (at the same degree as Stonecutter). He also can manipulate and create fire at the level of Pyro, as well as magma and earth at the level of Terra. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Hammer.

Disadvantages: The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: The Weapon of Ares

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Price: 9

Description: A weapon which takes takes whatever form the user want's it to (up to the technological levels of Real World Earth), though regardless it will be as strong as Adamantium. It is embedded with a small portion of the powers of the God Ares.

Requirements: The user have served in many battles or wars, and enjoyed it. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Invincible. The user is able to turn the weapon of Ares into any hand held, human weapon made (in real world history), all bladed weapons are as sharp as Wolverine's claws, all bludgeoned weapons hit as hard as Hercules' Golden Mace (Marvel), and all ranged weapons such as arrows, and bullets are made of Adamantium as well, and can hit ghosts, mist forms, intangibles and their kind, as well as having unlimited ammunition. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Weapon. The Weapon also is able to harm anyone that the Ebony Blade (Marvel) can.

NAME: Helm of Athena

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A Greek styled helmet, embedded with a small portion of the power of Athena

Requirements: The user must either be an inventor or an intellectual of some kind. Descendants of Athena can also use this. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol, they must also be at least partially good.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. As a Goddess of strategy they get the ability to see all possible outcomes of any situation before it even takes place, (at the level of Midnighter's combat computer). Also as the Goddess of Crafts and defensive warfare; the user gets the ability build constructs out of energy (to the strength of Sue Storm's shields, and the complexity of a Green Lantern Ring). The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Helm.

NAME: The Trident of Poseidon

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A six foot tall trident, embedded with a small portion of the power of Poseidon.

Requirements: The user must have some sort of connection with the ocean, (whether its simply being a fisherman, or being an Atlantean), or a descendent of Poseidon. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Namor. As the God of the Ocean, the user gets the ability to manipulate water into constructs, as well as shielding, giving any water controlled the durability of a Green Lantern construct. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Trident.

Disadvantages: The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: The Leopard Skin, and Thyrsus of Dionysus

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A leopard skin cape, and a staff covered in ivy; both embedded with a small portion of the power of Dionysus.

Requirements: The user must either be insane, have a drinking problem, or be descendent of Dionysus. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. As the God of wine, the user gets the ability to project drunkenness at the same power of Vertigo (the marvel character) upon enemies. He can also control plants (at the level of Klara Prast of the Runaways) and can create grape vines as tough, strong, and maneuverable as Doctor Oct's Adamantium tentacles, anywhere their is space for them to fit.The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the skin, and Thyrsus.

NAME: The Girdle of Aphrodite

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A belt like girdle which is immensely beautiful, and makes the wearer appear as the epitome of beauty to anyone who sees them; both embedded with a small portion of the power of Aphrodite.

Requirements: The user must either be have fallen deeply in love before, manipulates people with their beauty and personality, and be female; or be descendent of Aphrodite. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as thier Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. As the God of love, the user gets the ability to make anyone who hears, sees, them that is capable of feeling love, enthralled by them, (to the level of Jasmine from the Buffyverse). They also get intangibility (Kitty Pryde level). The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Girdle.

NAME: The Lotus Staff and Goat Skin Cloak of Hera

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A metre and a half tall staff, topped with a lotus flower, and a goat skin cloak, both embedded with a small portion of the power of the Goddess Hera.

Requirements: The user must be a married woman, who is a good mother. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. The user gets the ability to cast illusions on any enemy who see's her (to the capacity of Sōsuke Aizen), most commonly used to make enemies see each other as enemies. The user also gets the ability to fly (at the speeds, skill, and mobility of Storm). It also gives the power to summon Hera's creation Argus, which is a 30 Metre tall giant, that is covered in eyes, and has the strength, and durability of Rhino (the Spiderman foe), who will protect the user with its life. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the Staff and Cloak.

NAME: The Omega Bolt of Zeus

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A metre tall lightning bolt, both embedded with a small portion of the power of the God Zeus.

Requirements: The user must be a leader, though characters with only electric based abilities will be able to use the energy manipulation/absorption portion. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as thier Patron deity, and therefore some religous characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability, flight, and reaction times of Wonder Woman. The user gets the energy manipulation, energy absorption, weather control, and lightning (at the levels of Marvel's Thor). In dire situations the bolt itself; can be thrown, which is capable of planet busting, though this will destroy the bolt, and strip the user of its abilities. The user also gets agelesness, and won't age under any circumstances while they has the powers of the bolt.

Disadvantages: The user may only wield one Symbol of Olympus. Even if they give up the powers of one item, they will be barred from using another.

NAME: The Collar of Cerberus

Description: A spiked dog collar, embedded with a small portion of the power of the Monster Cerberus.

Requirements: The user must be a dog or canine like animal.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability, regeneration, and strength, of The (Hulk foe) Abomination. The user gets Hellfire manipulation and geneartion (at the levels of Marvel's Ghostrider). They also grow to be the size of King Kong and two extra heads. If they are already larger, then they grow the extra thirty feet on top of that,

NAME: The Golden Sickle of Demeter

Universe: Original Creation/Symbols of Olympus

Description: A golden sickle with elaborately carved handle with leaves pattern; embedded with a small portion of the power of Demeter.

Requirements: The user must either be related to some aspects of farming or agriculture, or, if a, woman must be a single mother. The user must also be at least partially good. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. As the Goddess of Harvest, the user gets the ability to control plants at the level of Swamp Thing within the radius of 100 miles from the user (no plant life possession, unless the character in question happens to be somebody with plant body like Groot or Treebeard) . It can also cause any organic plant-derived matter to wither (the powerlevel of Wither from the X-Men) in radius of 100 feet from the user at will. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they have the powers of the sickle.

NAME: The Tinderbox of Hestia

Description: A small silver and iron tinderbox; embedded with a small portion of the power of Hestia.

Requirements: The user must either be a "heart" of their family, or a "heart" of their adopted "family" (True Companions in TV Tropes slang). The males may qualify to wield it, but the item has strong preferences for females. The user must also be at least partially good. They must be able to accept this God or Goddess as their Patron deity, and therefore some religious characters may be unable to wield this Symbol.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability and reaction times of Spiderman. The durability increases to the level of Colossus when the user acts to protect the ones he or she truly cares about. As the Goddess of Fire and Hearth, the user gets the ability to control "the fires of Sacred Hearth" summoned from the Tinderbox which have the same properties as the ones empowering Wonder Woman's Lasso (healing, dispelling illusions and magic transformations, dispelling mind control, creating protective circles against magic attacks at the same power level as Lasso), and to form constructs out of them on Pyro's level. As the Goddess of Architecture, the user also gets the ability to communicate with urban infrastructure on Jack Hawksmoor (Authority) level. The user also gets agelessness, and won't age under any circumstances while they have the powers of the tinderbox.

Powers/Function: The user gets the speed, durability, regeneration, size, energy powers, and strength, of Godzilla Earth. The user gets the ability to change into any animal and grow new limbs, heads, wings, from those animals. They also are able to ignite volcanoes, (able to create Mount Vesuvius level volcanoes in minutes), and manipulate lava at the same level Katara (Avatar) can manipulate water, and stone at the same level as Toph, (scaled to the users size). It also has the regeneration of Doomsday.

I do a little fishing, and own 3 clownfish and a turtle so, requirements met.

I could explore the oceans, gather up sunken treasure, help clean up 70% of the earth, and likely come into conflict w. various countries and businesses who are mucking it up. I’m not an environmentalist or anything, but I figure w. a certain amount of responsibility would come w. this type of powerset.
