X-Men Legends 3 - create your own roster

With the food gates opened again there's now room for an X-Men video game. This was left on a cliff hanger. And in this game you got to play as the X-Men and the brotherhood.

What should the next roster look like should there be a new game. Let's keep it at 15-20 characters. And should the story be about Sinister? Or HoM etc

Oh grand I'd be happy if the roster was massive. Was just basing it off all the mortal Kombat games and how rosters diminished when put onto ps4. Although there are plenty of characters who could easily be skins

Although I would like some of the characters from previous games to have better attack powers, such as Beast, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Jubilee. Rogue and Colossus need to be quicker in movement with much greater hitting power.

Oh yeah that's true about Mortal Kombat. Though it's much harder to design lots of different characters with their own unique moves and combos in a fighting game like MK than an RPG like X-men Legends.

With a later released DLC pack of overpowered characters and fan faves: Deadpool (gotta sell that DLC), Rachel, X-man, Sunspot, Anole. Overall I wanted to have some characters from most eras and teams, including a select group of New X-men, in order to make the maximum amount of fans happy. I also had some ideas for the story, that involved Sinister as a sort of mid-game villain. There would also be some sub-plots that feature characters that aren't playable, such as an incident at Karma's company.

Have I thought too much about this? Yes. Have I gone overboard with the roster? Yes again

I have two ideas. One follows a similar path of the first Legends, but instead following Magma around you start in DoFP with Rachel. The first chapter follows her and the X-men's assault on the Sentinel center and ends with her in the past to try and change things. From there the central story moves away from her and onto other character arcs. Playable characters are Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, Rogue, Storm, Colossus, Rachel Summers, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Cable, Bishop, Magik, Emma Frost, Polaris, Psylocke and Gambit.
Unlockable players are Kitty, X-23, Banshee, Havok, Blink, and Dazzler.

The other idea is similar to what sorta played out in Gold and Blue where the X-Men are captured and stuck in the Mojoverse forced to replay all their worst nightmares and storylines. Cast includes Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, Angel, Iceman, Polaris, Havok, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Kitty, Rogue, Rachel, Psylocke, Bishop, Gambit, Magik. Unlockables include Longshot, Dazzler, Magneto, Cable, Emma Frost, Meggan, Captain Britain

I loved those games and would buy a new one in a heartbeat. Specially with modern graphics having improved so much.
