Introduce the X-Men to the MCU

That's true about Norton and Howard but they're literally 2 actors out of a cast of hundreds (I'm sure there might be other minor roles here and there that were recast). What I meant was that so far, for the most part, once an actor ages out of the role or decides to move on, Marvel's strategy hasn't been to cast a younger Tony Stark or a new Natasha Romanoff, but either let the character die or pass on the mantle to a new one.

So far the MCU has very much been about moving forward, hence the new crop of characters like Kamala Khan, Marc Spector, Monica Rambeau, Jennifer Walters, etc. joining and eventually replacing all those who leave. Things could change obviously especially if commercial success starts to falter, but in general I don't believe Marvel's strategy is to recast their existing characters.

Yeah, agreed. Certainly seems like that's the approach, and to your point they have plenty of other characters in the stable (including the X-men and FF) so no need to recast any of the big Avengers right now.

I'm with you by the way. I'll always think it's wrong that people are mad at fans at how Marvel is discarding their greatest black male hero the way they did. There are a lot of MCU shills (who are also in denial about how washed it has been since Endgame as well lol) that will defend everything and take aim at anyone who they see criticizing their baby so this is basically another one of those cases. It's why it's now misogynistic to apparently not agree with Marvel's decision. Just utilizing social justice language from twitter to try and win their argument.

Honestly, they might as well just roll with Jackman as the MCU Wolverine for the next several years and bring back Daphne Keen so you already have the legacy process set up. I don't think that will happen but I'd be down

Oh hell yes!!! And it lines up with Secret Wars the following year in 2025 too, which Old Man Logan played a big role in in the 2015 comic event... so it's possible this isn't a one and done and this variant sticks around until Secret Wars, after which I'm sure we'll finally get the 616 version of Wolverine.

I noticed that. If it is, it's the Remender Uncanny X-Force version, perhaps with Cable and Domino instead of Fantomex and Psylocke. Not a spoiler, just speculation. So I didn't bother putting in spoiler tags.
