Yeah that’s Nubia, Sanford Greene drawing her is a giveaway.

She might be joining the JLA. They are going to use the mini series to establish her and then she is going to take the next logical step and join the League.

Not the one you asked, but I'm not enthused, either. I don't even like aged-up Jon. But more than that, I do get tired of repeating dynamics. I don't want a World's Finest for the next gen. I don't want another Bat and Super hanging out, and I'm not really keen on either with a Wonder. I don't like that they get teamed up/paired off simply because of which "families" they are in and, if we have to keep expanding the families, I would really love to see a Super/GL or Wonder/Flash (or better yet, with heroes that aren't part of families) where they are treated as on equal standing (remember that the next gens don't have the Trinity pre-dating all other heroes, either, so they can be) instead of the idea that not only are the Trinity individuals more important, their families are, making them DC royalty with inherited importance. I also much dislike the same "families" keep having closer dynamics with each other, generation after generation.
So while I like Jon & Damian as buds (never was fond of Tim/Kon as closer than any other YJ members), I'd rather they have gone different routes and do so in the future (also, it's depressing there's so little that's about young Jon on his own or with is parents or other friends, without Damian - it's worth developing non-team heroes as individuals before you tie them to other heroes so tightly). I don't need to see new Flash/GL or Arrow/GL (already had a sort of repeat with Connor and Kyle), either. They don't need to hang out just because others of the same "family" did, especially in cases where they don't hang out with the previous gen, so don't get to know each other that way.
That said, I'm also a very big fan of civilian casts, and would like to see new (and some old) heroes develop consistent supporting casts instead of just making other heroes all their most important relationships.
