The best way to let DC know we don't care is to buy the Perez/Rucka/Jiminez stuff and celebrate them more.

So I had a question that I have asked elsewhere, but never actually got a good response, so I figured I would ask here. Obviously Wonder Woman throughout her comic book history has dealt with abuse victims who were female, but I was wondering if she has ever actually dealt with abuse victims who were male? And by that I mean with a female abusing a male, i.e. Wife abusing her husband or kids, on panel before?

The best answer I can think of, at least off the top of my head, would be back in the golden age where Diana would stop evil women that would subjugate men under a brutal rule. Think Queen Clea, Eviless, Atomica, etc... But modern day? I'm not to sure tbh. That sort of nuance gets lost with a lot mainstream writers. I'm sure there is a few instances where Diana has saved children from an abusive wife or caretaker but, idk about saving a husband from an abusive wife though that is something she would do.

Diana did give that speech about responsibility to all those people who were being controlled? manipulated? freed from commitment? by Atalanties in GWW's run. She chastised a woman for abandoning her family/husband to be with the babysitter.

Weren't the Bana Migdhall depicted as enslaving men and it was Diana who stopped it?

Ok that is a better answer then I normally get when I ask this question. Still I would love to ask one of Wonder Woman's writers that.

Wouldn't be surprised; but I was more referring to an individual committing abuse, rather then a abusive culture.

This makes Johns doing such a 180 around on her around the time of Darkseid War so amusing/infuriating.

It took him 40 issues to read good WW stories?

    Obligatory 'I hate Twitter posts'.

Lets hope Patty gets someone other than Johns to consult for WW3.

Yeah, I'm afraid none of her villains are there because even Johns doesn't know she has any villains besides Cheetah

Like seriously, couldn't they put Angle Man on the team? Or Mouse Man at least?

I'm having a flash back about that HBO Max "DC Villains" movie and the only Wonder Woman villain he mentioned was Cheetah. Cool, Wonder Woman gets the spot light on one villain for 30 seconds.

It was his version too of course. At least his Cheetah 1 v 6 the Justice League rather easily and was reveled she lost the battle on purpose so she could get into Belle Reve.

Huh, so there's a Wonder Woman audio drama series going on at the moment.

Wonder Woman: Heartless centers on Diana Prince dealing with the consequences of a politically divided public responding to a series of high-profile murders — and finding her belief in the justice system challenged in the process.

The story pits Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Jill Carlyle (Crimson Avenger), and British archeologist Dr. Barbara Minerva against two sisters — one, a serial killer who is terrorizing Washington DC by magically seizing the hearts of her victims, and the other whose powers might potentially be used to stop the killing streak
