The parents of the child that was kidnapped on Cable´s series talked about moving to Krakoa because they were having economic difficulties on their country and Northstar husband lives with him on Krakoa so my guess is that in general family of mutants is allowed to live there with them.

I can't speak for Frobisher but most of the fans deriding the move and establishing of KraKoa as segregationst, racist, cultist, socialist(lol) belong to the Straight White Dudes demographic....People who as a whole have been able to go whereever they please, without the fear of being government intervention or in danger of being seen as someone who didn't belong and who generally/historically have always had the rights many people (minorities, Women, LGBTQ) have had to organize and fight for.

Kitty was target they didn't have time to go back and forth on the pros and cons+It wasnt a sanctioned mind wipe. Jean did it on her own. and in the end it worked out. I mean the alternative would be the White Queens recruitment tactics and who knows what woulda happened...we know shes not above killing (a horse) to get her students to obey

How have telepaths not faced a moral reckoning for the abuse throughout the years?

I don't know if you remember that there was a time when Xavier was an outcast among the X-Men for his telepathic abuse, he was even expelled from his own mansion and had to work hard to be accepted again.

Of course there are consequences if you are a dick with telepathy.

Sorry, I worded that awkwardly. I'm not asking that all telepathic characters be collectively punished for the actions of a few, but shouldn't there be some moral blowback for the abuse that some have committed? Blowback that leads to a questioning of the use of telepathy that affects unknown/younger telepaths? How could anyone trust the idea of telepathy if even Jean and Xavier will casually mindwipe people "for the better"?

This is just something I feel very strongly about, telepathy is a very delicate power and should not be used so casually and negligently. I just about roll my eyes so hard that they almost fall out every time a telepath says "Sorry, you were thinking too loudly", after invading someone's mind.

It's meaningless if the characters as a whole go right back to abusing their telepathy, both in small and big ways.

Exactly, it should be a power with a much heavier narrative weight than it currently has as the "cool superhero replacement for earpieces" or alternative for spy equipment.

Now that many mutants are relocating to Krakoa, individual human fears about mutants are of course silly, but before that the average human coming across a mutant wouldn't be "unreasonable" to worry about what that mutant could do. Their reaction is a different story of course.

Ask those folks how they feel about Wakanda. If they fear Wakanda more than Krakoa there is an issue. In fact how do they feel about Doom's homeland and Atlantis?
