Normal Marvel people fear the Atlanteans and Latveria, in fact. Their kings destroy New York from time to time.

Ask those folks how they feel about Wakanda. If they fear Wakanda more than Krakoa there is an issue. In fact how do they feel about Doom's homeland and Atlantis?

You can't fear 1 and accept the others. 3 don't have mutants.

Wakanda's dynamic in Marvel is similar to Switzerland's irl. They're a country that's doing pretty well and has resources but tries to stay as neutral as possible. Outside Black Panther, Wakanda isn't an aggressor and likes to avoid conflicts.

Krakoa on the other hand has started conflicts and commited a few International Court of Justice worthy crimes(genocide). Krakoa and Doom's country definitely get suspicions. Both countries have former villains in political power.

I think anyone over the age of 50 with an 8 pack is a dangerous mutant that ruins a lot of lives.

    lol, background?

    I asked if this:

described the people arguing in this thread/the thread itself and you said yes. I went back through every page and found some supporting evidence for the segregationist claim, but nothing about Krakoa being racist, cultist, or socialist. I don't see how anyone's responses to the thread question would lead you to believe that they're motivated by your claim. Is the thread question itself the issue? I can't figure that one out either unfortunately, seems like a perfectly reasonable question. Besides, I thought we'd had some good back and forth, I certainly learned a few things and changed my perspective in some regards.
    Does it need doing?
    Yes.
    Then it will be done.

Yeah knowing what past experiences a person may have had gives you insight into Why they hold certain principles/thoughts

Dude I wasn't really saying that each one of those 'ist' examples are found in the thread. I was making a joke mimicking the recent threads of posters voicing their 'concerns' About the nature of Mutant sovereignty.

Oh I agree man it's interesting to discuss the conflicting narrative of the KraKoan era of Mutantdom and the X-Mens original mission statement

Well, I'm embarrassed, seems I misunderstood you completely.

I tend not to pay attention to most news, I didn't even know about the Wonder Woman thing and I live in Austin. Maybe a friend mentioned it to me, I don't know. Seems like a silly thing to get upset over.

I hope I haven't come across the wrong way, but I do think Krakoa's leadership has supremacist undertones. More than anything, it really comes down to some characters not acting right to me.

I'd like to ask everyone how they feel about Genosha vs Utopia vs Krakoa, I think it would be an interesting discussion.

    Yes.
    Then it will be done.
