What happened when Wolverine and the Thing ran before they donned bright costumes ? The Marvel Universe is full of tough guys, but they just do not come any tougher than Ben Grimm and Logan! This action-packed adventure takes place during the dangerous days of Grimm as a test pilot for the U.S. Air Force before he permanently became The Ever-Lovin ' blue-eyed idol of millions and the time of Logan as a Canadian secret agent before he became X- Men's secret weapon. Needless to say, they are thrown together during a top secret mission. But can they stop beating each other long enough to get the job done?
Also of note are; Tony Stark, Nick Fury, Carol Danvers and the Black Widow (and that's just in the first issue ).
This series sheds light on two of the most interesting and popular characters in the Marvel Universe during part of their history we have rarely seen. Full throttle adventure brought to you by the creative team of Larry Hama (WOLVERINE) and hot new find Kaare Andrews! http://www.comicsreporter.com/index....ay_larry_hama/

Haven't been reading Guardians of the Galaxy.
How is Ben in it? Any interesting developments?

I am glad I skipped it as well.
One thing that's always puzzled me is just how tall is he? All his bios and personal data says that he is 6'0" which weirdly would make him shorter than Reed Richards and not that much taller than Johnny Storm yet in the actual comics he is often drawn as been 6.5-7 foot tall such as in the recent 'The Fallen' book where he seemed to tower above everyone else.
I've wondered about his height too. Some artists draw him towering over the rest of the team, while others make him look a little shorter than Reed.
I personally prefer when he's taller than the others over the others.
I wish Ben was stronger. In his heyday, he could give other super-strength characters a challenge. But now it feels like he's trailing behind.

Ben shorter than Reed is just plain wrong IMO.
The Ben versus Hulk battles were always enjoyable to me
