Dating myself here, but I have fond memories of these 'adventure line' books, even though I think WARLORD was the only one to last.



STALKER I really liked a lot. All four issues are reprinted in DC's second Ditko hardcover.

There's some real, ballsy irony in DC including (the real) Captain Marvel in the lineup of world's greatest heroes DC gave us.

It is impossible to overstate the seething lust I felt for this as a child. Never saw it in real life, just the ads.

If I'd been aware of this things existence as a child, my parents would have had to suffocate me to shut up my begging for it.

I know most people get a headache from this era of Hawkman, but I loved it, and it even got this classy ad to promote it!
