This was truly great. Vita just reminded me of why I love Storm. It's been a while. The amount of melodrama was perfect.

This was much better than the faux magical Wolverine in hell instalment.
That girl Shuri has some balls talking about Krakoa when Wakanda has been sitting on the cure of cancer this whole time.
Plot contrivances aside this was a solid issue. Vita has a good capture on Storm's voice and while she didn't do anything too impressive in terms of her powers I think she did a great job capturing Ororo's thieving skills. She demonstrated a commitment to her people that I always like to see and she's got a new blade courtesy of her ex that could be a great addition to her lore, even if she's unlikely to keep it permanently.
Though I do think the story could've been better. T'Challa really couldn't be bothered to call her or update anyone in the palace on his whereabouts? Storm couldn't wait another few hours? From what I saw this was a Storm "liberation" moment that hopefully gets followed up on in future books. It'd be hilarious if this upcoming Storm-centric storyline ends up involving Wakanda yet again because as of late writers and casuals can't even think of Storm without thinking of T'Challa.
So... they get their swords and just sit there waiting for other people to come by?
The issue had an incredibly strong voice, but man, the conflict was so god damn contrived.
It's like I said:
Best Storm story in a very long time.
Vita is one of us.
lol at Shuri saying Wakanda never discriminated against mutants. Deeeeeeeelusional.
One thing i will say though is i didn't get those data pages. I'm still wondering WTH is going on i read it a few times and nothing. First time i am not a fan of data pages.
Don't let anyone else hold the candle that lights the way to your future because only you can sustain the flame.
