    Default Top five monsters

Just in time for Halloween. What are your top five monsters.

    5. Bigfoot: To me it’s one of those monsters that seemed almost on the verge of being real growing up. It’s not as outlandish as some monsters which adds to its believability.

    4. Werewolves: Transforming creatures were always interesting to me.

    3. Vampires: to me they always felt like the most human of all the monsters.

    2. Kaiju: Always been a big Godzilla fan.

    1. Grey Aliens: The very concept of these little buggers use to terrify me growing up. Their was this commercial series that use to air on tv when I was a kid called “mysteries of the unknown,” that use to send me running out of the room every time it came on, because of its depiction of Greys.

Godzilla (and giant monsters in general)

    Vampires (and Dracula in particular)

    Werewolves

    Ghosts (and haunted houses/possessions)

Fishmen (I’ve always had a thing for those)

    My personal top five monsters?

    Pokemon (i.e. pocket monsters)
    Werewolves
    Godzilla and pals
Audrey 2 (particularly the '86 version)
    Witches

Runner up spots include ghosts and Gremlins. Oh! And Nessie, Champ, and other water cryptids. I also forgot Muppet monsters! They'd actually probably be somewhere in the top five... maybe edging out the witches...

    4) Elfy/leprachaun kind of dudes, like the Leprachaun or the Thistledown Hair dude from Strange and Norrell

Gonna go for a mix of some of the classics and new films

Nosferatu from the F.W. Murnau silent film
    Karloff's Frankenstein
Oliver Reed in Hammer's Curse of the Werewolf. Even though there aren't many scenes in full makeup, he was a very imposing looking werewolf.
The vampires in 30 Days of Night were terrifyingly feral and ruthless
Maybe it's just me but The Nun from the Conjuring universe was scary.
Honorable Mention: Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera was certainly a great achievement in makeup. Been a while since I've watched the entire movie

My mashed up list from movies and folklore:

    1) Vampires: I was addicted to horror movies as a kid; and lost count a long time ago on how many I've seen.

    2) Lake monsters: Nessie, Champ. Ogopogo; love them all. It's fun to speculate "what if".

    3) The Blob: I have to say that old movie just creeped me out.

    4) Triffids: The idea of predatory plants taking your place on the food chain may have creeped me out even more than the Blob.

    5) Godzilla: Probably the least "believable" on the list; but one of my all-time favorites. (You rock, big guy.)
Pull List: The Black Hammer, Bitch Planet, Copperhead, Hellboy/BPRD, Monstress, Ms. Marvel, Southern Cross

Dracula (and vampires in general, mostly the "classic" versions, Lugosi, Carradine, Christopher Lee).

The Wolf Man (Lon Chaney, Jr. but werewolves in general).

The Frankenstein Monster (more the original book version than any other).

Samantha Stephens (representing the new beautiful witches as represented in the ad campaigns by Darrin Stephens).

Wednesday Adams (representing the human monster raised by monsters).

Actually, honorable mention to Wednesday but, really, the original Creature from the Black Lagoon.
    Power with Girl is better.

    Cool

1.) Godzilla ~~ In all of his interpreations(not including America 1998) and all Monsters Accioated with his Univese!

2.) Vampires~~ ALL Vampires in General, But My Favorites are Classic Dracula, Bram Stokers, Castlevania and Hellsing Series!

3.) Jason Voorhees ~~ My Favorite of the Golden Age of Slasher Killers, Highly Powerful Lumbering Giant that is more like a Junkyard Dog that people keep stupidly going into his yard for some reason, LOL. Also he is at time more of a symbothic slaher with how he was wrong and leading to his death.

4.) Demons ~~ Most All forms, but they are generall the most scary and disturbing of all! They can be from personal to Universe spanding threats. Anime, Movies, TV, Video Games, Books, Comics, WarHammer 40k, Faith and Bibical ~~ Demons are the most darkest and evil of beings, while the rare few that try to be somewhat good show the struggle of their nature.

5.) Supernatural/Spirtual Warriors ~~ This kind of is my own form of Genre I have seen, But it mostly is any Ghostly, Demoic, Heavenly or being of Supernatural orgin that is of a fighter or warrior class.

From Ghost Samurai, to Death Knights, to Demon Ninjas, to the Headless Horseman, to Mortal Kombat, to Big Trouble in Little China Three Storms, any Supernatural being that is based on a Warrior or Fighter Genre has always been Awesome to Me! These are Supernatural Beings whos skills are the most scary yet cool thing about them!
