Because both books are literally about the main characters getting possessed and then massacred. Didio loves that plot.

What are you doing assuming DC will use a WW characte outside a WW-centric book who isn't Cheetah or Giganta?

I miss when she exclusively called him "Kal," but yeah, given she's wearing momentos of fallen friends I assumed it was. The book could be silent and I'd be buying this. The artwork is phenomenally beautiful.

Some more Yara in this shot from Future State: Justice League:

I like the kid Yara and Jon in the bottom right.

Not gonna lie, it actually kind of irritates me when she calls him Kal. Usually cause it comes off as trying to make Diana come off as overly stiff/formal. Though I acknowledge that’s probably just me reading way too much into it.

That it’s also something KC and Injustice Diana call him exclusively by is also what puts me against it.

In some ways I thought it was because it's his truest name, given that it's what he was born with, but also a friendly affirmation of his other side since everyone calls him Clark. She's the only one who ever really seemed to remember his Kryptonian heritage was more than a source for superpowers and I liked that their bond was, more than even J'onn and Clark, one of two people being of two worlds; the juxtaposition being man's world is new to her whereas his heritage is new to him, but they love and learn about their new paradigms as best they can.

Yeah, that's a cool reasoning for it since it gives a good connection beyond just world's strongest man and world's strongest woman.

Like I said, I probably just read too much into it.

It's also a nice contrast in dynamic with Bruce calling him "Clark."
