I guess I’ll post this here too. Got my Future State books early, most of them were rather generic but FS Wonder Woman was actually pretty good. Yara has personality and the book itself has a charm. Not coming from Themyscira, but a different mythical land that shares familiar traits puts a interesting spin on her mythos. She is far and away the most interesting of the new generation so far.
I was not going into any of these books with high expectations, but this one impressed me. It’s the only one that left me wanting to read more. I was genuinely interested in its characters, and the art and tone was fresh and interesting. It’s the only one the genuinely felt like something of a new generation, and wasn’t dependent on the bones of its legacy.Last edited by Godlike13; 12-30-2020 at 01:55 PM.
