All i know is the John story takes up just under half the page count so, with two more stories in the book, it can't be called "the backup."

I guess we'll all see in February.

I am not sure if the question is which is the backup (I think the ad just focuses on the Hal story since it is featured on the cover) but rather who is actually writing the Hal story.

In the end I read a number of so far published Future States and I thought the Batman was pretty good with decent art and interesting storyline. The Harley one was poor with over computerised art for my taste and really didn’t like the storyline much. The Superman wasn’t just poor but confusing as well in its story but at least the art was ok. The only one I really liked to any extent was the Wonder Woman title which had good art and interesting story.

Nope, more like character destruction to the worse place. Make me wish Marvel could get the character right so that DC could destroy the IP.

Ww, Batman and Swamp Thing are pretty standalone. Superman isn't as standalone. I feel like I'm in the middle and playing catch up.
